I recently moved to London and can't think of a better way to meet a new community of creative queer folks than with some good, old-fashioned stuff-making. Envisioning some general crafty evenings/afternoons where folks bring whatever they're working on individually as well as skill-share workshops where we teach each other specialized/advanced skills that we've mastered through our own trial and error.
